At Quality Excavation, we are committed to ensuring the safety of all our employees, no matter how complex the job may be. Our management team has implemented mandatory safety classes, including 10-hour, 30-hour, and 40-hour OSHA training. In addition, other requirements include
- Flagger certification
- Rigger certification
- First Aid/Adult CPR certification
- and Competent Person for Excavation
All of our employees partake in mandatory Weekly Tool Box Talks: classes are conducted online, or and when available, in-person with the Safety Director of our Insurance Brokerage. As an integral part of their employment terms, operators and laborers utilize the safety training classes provided by their unions to maintain their certifications and keep up-to-date with new equipment and changing industry methods and procedures.
To foster a sense of community and connection within our team, we regularly host social events and activities throughout the year. This has helped us to become a close-knit family that looks out for one another, which is evident in our commitment to safety in the field. We always have each other's backs and work together to ensure that our excavation work is completed safely and responsibly.
